I serve as the Bilingual Parent Educator for Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, where I have the privilege of supporting families and children in our community. I studied Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University and earned my degree from Blinn College. With 17 years of experience in public education and 8 years in the non-profit sector, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a caseworker, mentor, and parent and child educator. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and ensuring they feel understood, valued, and cared for. Building meaningful connections with the families I serve is incredibly rewarding, especially because our shared language allows us to relate on a more personal and authentic level.

My husband and I have been married for 28 years, and we’ve raised our three children, and now enjoy two wonderful grandchildren, right here in the Brazos Valley, where we’ve lived our entire lives. In my free time, I love being with my family, spending time with my grandson, working out, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.

It’s an honor to work for the community that shaped me, and I’m excited to be part of this incredible organization, building relationships and continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
